Besides getting my season tickets today, I also got the news (thanks to JDLand, DCist, Mark Fisher and So Good) that we have the lineup for food options at the new ballpark! Topping the list is DC’s famous Ben’s Chili Bowl. We will also get to dine on Red Hot and Blue, Hard Times Cafe, and Curly W-shaped pretzels from Noah Pretzels. Hopefully the Five Guys at L & New Jersey Ave SE will extend there hours so people leaving late games will have a place to stop for a burger while waiting for the lines at the metro to clear out.
Be sure to check out pictures of the ballpark on JDLand and check out the ballpark cam on Clark Construction’s website. I am still expecting a lot of final touches to not be finished by opening day, but it’s amazing to see how much progress has been made.
